The Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association of NSU (CEEAAN) was formally recommended on 24th March 2025, marking the realization of a long-standing vision shared by alumni of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at North South University (NSU). For many years, former students had recognized the importance of creating a platform that would connect graduates with their alma mater while fostering collaboration and mutual support within the alumni community. Through dedicated efforts and shared commitment, that vision has now become a reality.
To strengthen this network of professionals, the Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association of NSU (CEEAAN) was established in 2025. CEEAAN’s mission goes far beyond maintaining alumni connections - it aims to build a dynamic platform for professional development, mentorship, and industry collaboration. The association organizes events, workshops, and networking sessions to facilitate intellectual exchange and career advancement. It also supports humanitarian initiatives, engages in community service, and provides assistance to current students, faculty, and alumni in times of need.
CEEAAN is committed to building a strong and supportive network among graduates, enhancing the reputation of NSU’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DCEE), and promoting the professional growth of its members. The association aims to facilitate intellectual exchange, provide career guidance and mentorship, support humanitarian initiatives, and extend assistance to current students and faculty members during times of need. By continually expanding its membership and encouraging active engagement, CEEAAN strives to strengthen the sense of community among all its members.
The association is honored to be guided by its esteemed faculty advisors: Chief Faculty Advisor Prof. Dr. Md. Sirajul Islam, along with Prof. Dr. Javed Bari and Dr. S. M. Ashfaqul Hoq. Their mentorship and continuous support play a vital role in shaping the association’s direction and advancing its initiatives.
